We are thrilled to have The Heart Gallery of Ottawa as part of the 2nd annual Ladies Getaway Weekend! Their project is a partnership between the Adoption Council of Canada (ACC) and the Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa.
The Heart Gallery’s mission is to use the power of photography to capture the individuality and dignity of waiting children, to raise public awareness about their needs, to obtain support to meet those needs, and to find permanent homes for them.
The photos of children & youth will be displayed this weekend and we encourage you to learn more about them. All portraits were done by our fabulous volunteer, Christine Tripp of Tripp Photography.
Also, in order to raise funds for this innovative project, the first of its kind in Canada, we are holding a silent auction fundraiser. Please visit our booth for more information about all our items and get ready to bid, bid, bid!
