Description: “Sometimes When We Touch”, “Can’t We Try”, “In Your Eyes.” Dan Hill grew up listening to Sinatra, Count Basie, Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan. Crediting Sinatra for style, he started writing at 14, was signed by 19 and had the smash hit, “Sometimes When We Touch,” one of the most covered pop songs of all time, under his belt by 23! Through his remarkable career his songs have been made famous by artists like Céline Dion ("Seduces Me"), the Backstreet Boys ("I Promise You"), Alan Jackson and many more. Don’t miss the incredible experience of hearing this award-winning, legendary songwriter share his music in the way it was first meant to be heard.

Event: She Loves Me! - A Musical Comedy
Location: Rose Theatre, Brampton

Description: A warm, romantic comedy about two lovesick, anonymous pen pals who work together during the day, blissfully unaware that they are writing to each other at night. A tale of unlikely sweethearts and the eccentric colleagues who aid and abet them, She Loves Me is based on the Hungarian play, Parfumerie, which has been adapted into such movies as The Shop Around the Corner (with Jimmy Stewart), In the Good Old Summertime (with Judy Garland), and You’ve Got Mail (with Tom Hanks). With an endearing innocence and a touch of old world elegance and nostalgia, it is as universal and relevant as ever in this age of internet romances.

In this elegant and beautifully staged production, Theatre Newfoundland Labrador shares the fascinating true-life story of Myra Bennett. Simply known as "The Nurse", Bennett's work in the 1920's along the 200-mile stretch of rugged Newfoundland coast became legendary. Four actors transform a simple set into the Majestic splendor of Newfoundland in a tale that will touch your soul.

Event: Pink Ribbons Inc – Capitalizing on Hope Documenatry
Location: Imperial Theatre – 55 Dunlop Street West, Barrie ON
Description: Pink Ribbons, Inc. looks at the pervasive impact of breast cancer fundraising. Where does all the money go, and what is actually achieved? The film offers a completely different take on the pink ribbon “success” story that has overtaken North America. Pink Ribbons, Inc. is a feature length documentary produced by the National Film Board of Canada and directed by award-winning, Canadian filmmaker Léa Pool. The film is inspired by a book of the same name by Professor Samantha King of Queens University.

The 4 Men ensemble's repertoire draws from rich and varied compositional traditions including men’s chorus, the Barbershop tradition and famous “guy” groups from the 1950s, including The 4 Lads. The 4 Men bring many years of choral and solo singing experience to the group.
